I wear a huge and heavy chain
Formed of heart broken and lonely pain.
It weighs down on my aching heart
Smashing and crushing it apart.
It hangs around my neck like a noose
I crave to be cut loose
>From this gargantuan grief
I seek solace and reassuring relief.
I long to have my heart massaged
By my friend who wears the visage
Of God Who is all merciful.
He possesses God's power to lull
And make the pain become dull.
