Angels and saints silently gather to sing songs of glorious delight.
Family and friends joyfully tie smiling happy wishes to soaring, sky high kites.
Sunday, May 7, 2006 is whitest, brightest, and happiest in every way
For it is your long awaited First Holy Communion Day!
You are dressed all in pure white and you have tried to do what is just right.
Jesus is excited as He waits for you expectantly in the beautiful box with the light.
Prayerfully place your hopes and dreams on the golden paten that the priest will raise
Give thanks to God for His Son's Holy Sacrifice on the altar and offer all your praise
Good and gentle Jesus will be really and truly present in the small, round Host
Sweet Jesus will softly kiss your soul because He loves you, His little child, the most.
You, dear Hailey, will take sweet Jesus into your clean and pure heart.
Joy, Grace, and Spirited gifts, He will generously and gladly impart.
So remember to talk to Jesus, your Friend forever, while He is inside of you.
Ask Him to help you to love Him more and more in everything you do.
Then silently listen to the precious Lamb of God lovingly whisper back to you.
Give praise to Him, His Father, and the Holy Spirit the whole perfect day through!
