Dear Blessed Mother, please help me throw
Myself with all this stabbing sorrow
Into the power of the Paschal Mystery.
Help me to trust in God's life history
To know that suffering leads to salvation
And is not a punishment for damnation.
For our God is good, gracious and full
Of charity and compassion for all people.
