AMDG I Wish I Was a Duckling

I Wish I Was a Duckling

I wish i was a happy, quacky duckling
Splish-splashy and bright-eyed
Making tiny ripples in the warm water
And wide tracks on the wet sand.

I would thank the most, merciful Wind
For safely steering me as i gaily glide
And praise the good Son for guiding me
To plentiful land with His patient Hand!
