I'm thankful to God for so very many reasons
For my children who i love more with each passing season
Who have added more joy, heartache, and fun
Than ever in my childhood's pretending, i could imagine.

I'm thankful for my family, both adopted and actual.
They bestow on me love that originates from the One Supernatural.
I treasure the memories of times that we've shared.
I'm forever grateful for all the ways they've shown they've cared.

I'm thankful for my forever and faithful friends.
I have the best that God could ever send.
We have laughed, cried, and tried to help each other.
I pray that God will always be present when we're with one another.

I'm thankful to God for a special priest.
He came into my life after my beloved became deceased.
He has given me back God's hope and a reason for living.
I look forward to this friendship that is just beginning.

I'm thankful for God's constant presence
In my life and for His neverending Divine Providence
Which has saved me from the evil one's temptations.
He truly is my Source, my Strength, and my Consolation.

I'm thankful to God for the years that i was married
To my faithful husband and though his body is now buried
I know that our love will continue and his life still lives
For God would never take away what He so freely gives!!
