Sometimes, so excruciating and exceedingly slowly
Sometimes, way too sudden and surprisingly swiftly
Life, as we know it, breaks, stops, and is no more
And as we breathe our final breath, death opens a door
To pass through to a new and different chance
To set our sight on the living Light and joyfully dance
And advance on to a new and delightful adventure
With the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father
His merciful Son and the bountiful Spirit in the Trinity
With peaceful unity lasting forever throughout eternity!
