A high tide of tears wells,
Swells,
And spills out from my eyes
Before i can even realize
My ocean of emotions
Is stirring
And churning
Up a colossal commotion!
Waves of sorrow surge
And merge
Within the depths of despair!
Suddenly!
Silently!
Out of nowhere,
A swift gush of warm water slides
Across and over me
And the Holy
Spirit dives
Into my body, heart, and soul
And takes total control!
He calms me down
And makes me feel safe and sound!
