On the wide, silvery Wings of Divine Wisdom
Came flying down the just and merciful Prince of Peace
To unlock the gates to Their Heavenly Kingdom
And to generously pour out His Life that will never cease

Though He was so brutally punished, suffered, and died
Love still lives and simply, in our souls, abides
Through our sorrow, death, and trail of tears cried
Jesus will kindly take us with Him to the lovely other side!
